Session 2A: Providing Student Voice

Providing Student Voice

In this session Melanie Roy will describe the journey she has taken to provide students library representative roles within the library. She will explain how she chose the library council, how she chose the library officers, how they run the monthly meetings, and how students have created a mission statement, taken on responsibilities and given voice to the library and school-wide literacy activities. If possible, students will be present to field questions as well.
