Implementing 1:1 in Schools: The Role of the Teaching Librarian

A panel of school librarians, moderated by James Monti, Director of Ed. Reform, Compliance & IT for West Warwick Public Schools, will share how their schools implemented a 1:1 initiative. Members of the panel represent elementary, middle, and high school libraries and public and private schools.  The panelists will discuss the following subjects: How do you choose devices?   How do you determine the timeline?  How is training handled? Who supervises the devices?  How will your technology use policies change? What is the responsibility of the student? The parent/guardian? Who maintains/fixes the devices?  Hear from your colleagues who are currently dealing with these questions and more as they implement 1:1.
