Students learn best when they're engaged in hands-on learning. In elementary school they often use manipulatives, but by middle school we leave that behind. Why not use some of the manipulatives they know best -- toys? In this hands-on workshop, teachers will learn how to use Play-Doh, action figures, Hot Wheels, superheroes, LEGO, and other tools to make their classrooms fun again -- while connecting the fun to the core concepts of your curriculum.
