Jumping into STEAM and Makerspace

In this session, Amy and Donna will share resources and activities for STEAM and Makerspace that they've used with students in K-5. They'll also share tips and experiences about getting materials and funding, and provide ideas for promoting STEAM and Makerspace activities. Finally, they will share tech tools they use in their classrooms.

Amy Olsen is an art teacher and has been working in Lincoln for 20 years. Amy and Donna have been collaborating and offering STEAM and Makerspace opportunities to students in their classrooms and now have expanded to offer special activities during recess.

Donna Ouellette is a Library Media Specialist and has been working in Lincoln for 18 years.
