This session will provide educators with tips and strategies to create a strong home-school connection and build a greater appreciation of literature through the family book club format.

Melanie Roy has been a library teacher at Hampden Meadows School (grades 4 and 5) in Barrington, RI, for four years. Prior to that, she was a fourth grade teacher and a special needs teacher. She is passionate about read aloud, student choice and student voice. 

Gino Sangiuliano is an Assistant Principal in Barrington.
