Highlander Institute

The Highlander Institute partners with communities to imagine and create more equitable, relevant, and effective schools.

In partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Education and other community organizations, the Highlander Institute team will deliver 3 virtual workshops at the end of August .

These professional learning opportunities are open to all educators, but space is limited. Registration is now live on Eventbrite.

RITELL

RITELL offers webinars for all educators. Members attend free, and there is a fee for non-members.

GBH Education

The GBH Education YouTube channel features professional development webinars on using GBH-produced digital learning resources and the PBS LearningMedia platform, technology walk-throughs, and recordings of online events on topics like culturally responsive teaching, and Universal Design for Learning.

URI is offering FREE Code.org Professional Development for your district 6 - 12 grade educators. Stipends are available for accepted teachers who complete the program requirements. Note that this is likely the last year to receive this PD at no cost and to receive teacher stipends.
