Melanie DeSantis (she/her) serves as the school librarian at Fallon Memorial Elementary in Pawtucket Rhode Island. Prior, she worked in public libraries primarily in teen services. This has been her first year serving on the Rhode Island Children’s Book Award committee.

Pam Miech is Coordinator of the Youth Services Department at the Warwick Public Library. A knowledgeable, reliable, creative, and energetic Children’s Librarian, she has over 25 years experience and service to the Warwick Community. Currently on the RICBA book award committee, Pam previously was a member of the RIMSBA committee.
