(June 2013) Welcome to two new RILINK members! St. Luke's School in Barrington and West Bay Christian Academy in North Kingstown have joined RILINK and are in the process of bringing their collections online. That brings our total membership up to 153 schools!
(March 2013) RILINK is pleased to announce Dr. Renee Hobbs, Professor and founding Director of the Harrington School of Communication and Media at the University of Rhode Island, as the Keynote Speaker for this summer's conference (August 13 & 14). Dr. Hobbs will also offer a workshop related to her field of digital literacy. Visit the Media Education Lab to learn more about Dr. Hobbs and her work.
(February 2013) RILINK adds Follett State Standards Subscription to its membership features, allowing members to search for and access resources aligned with the Common Core. For more information, visit the State Standards Subscription Guide.
(January 2013) RILINK adds new LibGuides CMS site called RILINK Schools. Thirty-five member school libraries are in the process of developing their guides to enhance their library programs and collaborate with teachers, students, and parents.
