Summer Reading 2023

Rhode Island Statewide Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading 2023: Find Your Voice

This summer Rhode Island will be adopting the  2023 iREAD Summer Reading Program Find Your Voice

Our voices have power. We use our voices to share stories, express ourselves, and spark change. Our voices include not only the sounds we make, but the words we write, the art we create, the movements we perform, and the actions we take each day to impact our world.

iREAD 2023: Find Your Voice will provide a context for exploring books, history, social justice, and STEAM fields as well as develop library programs and services that empower patrons of all ages to make their voices heard.

OLIS will provide public libraries with iREAD programming materials to support library staff in motivating children, young adults, and adults to read and learn. The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

For more information contact Danielle Margarida, Youth Services Coordinator, 401-574-9309.

Curious about Beanstack?

Beanstack by Zoobean is a web and mobile app that helps public libraries create, manage, and measure reading challenges for youth and adults. All RI public libraries have a Beanstack site through a statewide subscription coordinated by  AskRI and the RI Office of Library and Information Services.
