July 14 3A: RICBA :Who We Are, What We Do, & How to Participate!!!

Kevin Veronneau

Kevin Veronneau is the Youth Services Specialist at the Washington Park Library Branch of Providence Community Library. He recently completed my first year on the RICBA committee stating "It was a blast!" Kevin entered the field recently but is driven by a lifelong love of reading and spreading "book love." He enjoys visual arts and cooking when outside the library.

Denise Phillips is currently a librarian in the Woonsocket Public Schools and has worked in the system for 20 years. She worked as a classroom teacher for 12 years, 6 years at the middle school level and 6 years at an elementary school in the district. She is assigned 20 classes a week for the library which includes, in person classes and Distant Learning classes. Some of the responsibilities that she has are teaching library skills, coding, technology, book talks, and supporting all staff looking for materials in the library. This year is her final year on the RICBA committee.
