RILINK member schools have several options for borrowing materials from outside their own collections. These options are borrowing from schools within the same district, In District Loan (IDL), borrowing from participating RILINK schools through Cross District Loan (CDL), and through the Library of Rhode Island (LORI) Network. In District Loan is always the first option.
In District Loan (IDL) is turned on in all districts. If your school also participates in CDL, every school in your district must have this setting checked in Back Office|Admin|Site Configuration|Circulation. This does not enable schools outside of your district to request items from your library. See next tab.
When you are ready to begin IDL or expand to CDL, contact Karen Shore for more information.
